Emirates Environmental Protection Co LLC (ECO) was founded in 1999 under the patronage of Shk. Faisal Bin Khalid Al Qassimi from the Sharjah Ruling Family.
ECO operates the largest Marine Pollution Reception facility in the GCC, with the capacity to treat 25,000 metric tons of oily sludge and 75,000 cubic meters of oily slop each year.
With growing environmental awareness globally and in the region, ECO aims to achieve significant progress in the coming years.
